J&S receives Golden Hammer Award

COOKEVILLE - J&S Construction Co.’s emergency response division, which is responsible for handling catastrophic events like fire, wind, water or vandalism that caused significant damage to residential, commercial and industrial properties, is proud to announce it was recently honored with the “Golden Hammer – Excellence in Achievement Award” from Crawford Contractor Connection. Contractor Connection is the largest, fully independent network of managed contractor repairs for insurance companies and consumers. Its network has the best construction and building repair and remodeling contractors in the U.S. and Canada.

The Golden Hammer – Excellence in Achievement Award is presented to the contractors ranking in the top 100 out of more than 3,500 contractors, in the following categories:

  • Timeliness to appointments
  • Professionalism of work crews
  • Quality of repairs
  • Quality of service
  • Timely completion of work
  • Estimate upload
  • Estimate review
  • Job completion
  • Customer feedback/surveys
  • Re-inspections
  • Avoiding service level failures


J&S Construction was presented the Golden Hammer Award at the annual Contractor Connection Conference for the year of 2010. J&S Construction has been working as a preferred contractor with Contractor Connection since February 2009, and was also recognized with the same award for 2009’s work. This special recognition is awarded based on a strict performance criteria and overall quality of service and professionalism.
