Plateau Pediatrics, one of the Upper Cumberland’s leading pediatric practices, is expanding its operations following an exciting groundbreaking ceremony held for its entire staff, friends, families and Cumberland County officials, who all gathered to celebrate the momentous occasion.
HOPE Family Health
Size: 3,000 sq. ft.
Owner: HOPE Family Health
Founded in 2005 and located in Sumner and Macon Counties, HOPE Family Health is the only faith-based, nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center of its kind. The philanthropic group continuously seeks to improve access to medical and mental healthcare in rural areas, and places an emphasis on vulnerable populations such as the uninsured, underinsured, poor, and homeless, children, migrant workers, and those addicted to substances.
St. Alphonsus Catholic Church

Parishioners of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Crossville gathered on Dec. 3, to witness a new chapter in their parish history. Bishop Richard F. Stika and St. Alphonsus Pastor Father Mark Schuster led a groundbreaking ceremony that included other diocesan clergy, parish building committee members, construction officials, and guests. The parish currently celebrates Mass in a parish family life center that was dedicated in 2003. The new 8,000 square-foot church will accommodate about 300 worshipers with room for possible expansion in the future.
Bailey Manor

Bailey Manor, a family-owned company that specializes and caters only to Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, saw a need for its services in the Chattanooga market. Our expansive portfolio of senior care living facility ground-up projects and thorough renovation jobs provided Bailey Manor representatives the contentment of selecting J&S Construction as the design-build partner for its fifth Tennessee site, located in Hixson.
Permobil Expansion
Size: 70,000 sq. ft.
Owner: Permobil
Permobil, which opened its doors in Middle Tennessee in 2000, added a $15 million, 70,000 square-foot expansion, which will assist in creating 70 new jobs over the next five years.
