J&S Construction completed this new ground-up facility in Carthage, Tenn., in December 2014. This 1,856 square-foot structure includes a unique king-brick exterior, a custom-layout kitchen, a 20’4” x 7’9” freezer/cooler, a dual-fountain drink/slush station island, 31 menu stalls with eight picnic tables for outdoor seating and 17 additional parking spaces. 

Since 1957, more than 75 percent of J&S Construction’s projects have been completed with repeat customers. J&S Construction has completed more than 120 projects for Sonic restaurants in the last decade – including two ground-up sites, complete with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, audio and lighting; as well as numerous remodels and renovations to fit new branding in changing all-call stations, exterior facades, lighting and menu boards.

J&S Construction has also been contracted to complete energy savings modifications on several restaurants, including the first solar panel installation in Tennessee. 

J&S Construction has also been called upon by restaurant owners for various emergency repairs including reconstruction of two facilities from fire damage, along with emergency board-up and temporary repairs. Emergency and restoration improvements have also been provided to more than 15 locations, following vehicle impact to the facility. All affected stores were able to operate without any downtime during the emergency restoration.
