While a facility expansion has many benefits, it can actually be more complicated than starting fresh with a new building. J&S Construction completed a 10,000 square-foot, building expansion at Flexial Corporation’s Cookeville site.
Johnstone Supply Cleveland
Size: 11,900 sq. ft.

Johnstone Supply, an industry-leading cooperative distributor of HVAC parts, has opened its new 11,900 square-foot facility located at 1401 S. Lee Highway in Cleveland, Tenn.
The Store
Size: 4,000 sq. ft.
Owner: Brad and Kimberly Williams-Paisley
A not-for-profit, retail store built for country music star Brad Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
The Store offers a variety of foods that will help individuals strive for healthier lives through food choices, as well as nutritional education and cooking classes. Clients are given the opportunity to come to The Store for a one-year period. There is no charge to those referred or to the people and agencies that send them. They may shop for food to supplement their income during times of crisis and as they work toward self-sufficiency.
Johnstone Supply Cookeville

Cookeville’s Johnstone Supply, located at 70 W. Davis Road, is a 20,000 square-foot facility that showcases a 2,000 square-foot showroom with floor to ceiling windows and plenty of space for product display and an 18,000 square-foot warehouse. The new building now gives Johnstone Supply the ability to house more product on site, and is helping to improve customer lead times on purchases. A second-level mezzanine with secure access was also included and will be used as a training room during or after regular business hours.
Fieldstone Place Renovations
Size: 102,825 sq. ft.
Owner: Five Star Senior Living Inc.
Renovation work is complete at Fieldstone Place, a 102,825 square-foot, multi-level, senior living community located at 51 Patel Way, in Clarksville, Tenn. Property manager, Five Star Senior Living Inc., headquartered in Newton, Mass., contracted J&S Construction to complete various enhancements to the multi-level facility with a majority of work including the facility’s common areas receiving upgrades to its flooring, ceilings and wall finishes, and a bulk of the lighting being upgraded to LED type light fixtures.
