Clark Lumber Company

Project included design and construction of a new office facility for Clark Lumber Company, a producer of world-famous hardwood lumber headquartered in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.

This new 5,022 square-foot facility in Macon County features 4,397 square-feet of conditioned area plus three covered exterior entrances. The building showcases seven offices, public and private restrooms, a large conference area, reception areas, with additional work spaces and storage areas throughout.

The exterior space allows for ample parking for both employees and customers, a low maintenance, all-masonry exterior, a standing-seam metal roof, as well as numerous windows and glass which increases natural lighting throughout the facility.

The Design-Build contract included architectural and engineering fees, all site work, plus building costs which combined design and construction quality, cost, and schedule into a single point of responsibility.

This project was completed on schedule and within the client’s established budget.

Clark Lumber Company, a multi-generation, family-owned business, manufactures more than 130,000 board-feet of lumber per day from its two mills; located in Red Boiling Springs and Lafayette. While working with clients across the state, the company prides itself on remaining committed to protecting and preserving Tennessee’s forest resources.
