COOKEVILLE -- J&S Construction Company’s Emergency Response Team has been fervently assisting victims in Nashville and the surrounding areas in the wake of the Middle Tennessee floods. J&S’ construction crews have been working around the clock, expediting demolition and cleanup for Stansell Electric Co. Inc., located in the heart of downtown Nashville, which suffered sever flood damage. Stansell Electric is responsible for providing a variety of electrical services to commercial, industrial, residential and governmental clients throughout the Middle Tennessee area.

Stansell selected J&S due to its ability to direct workers on site immediately after the detrimental waters receded. J&S also has extensive experience in dealing with water and mold remediation, being able to accelerate all content pack outs, odor removal and mold remediation. Stansell had over four feet of water throughout its 270,000 square-foot office/maintenance facility. The Emergency Response Crews removed all drywall up to the water level, and are in the process of drying/cleaning the building to ensure no mold will develop in the future.

Kevin McCaleb, Chief Operating Officer with J&S Construction has continuously been onsite while much of the work has been ongoing.

“Nashville has seen tremendous devastation,” said McCaleb. “We are honored to be a part of the relief efforts in helping our fellow friends at Stansell. Our men have worked tirelessly to get Stansell back in operation, and all of their efforts are to be commended.”
